Start with Catholic churches near you: use your location or enter a full postcode to compare churches by distance, with regular Mass times and directions. Location access is optional. Distances are straight-line estimates, so use Directions to check your actual journey. Churches without a recorded map pin remain available through Mass times by county and town.
Open the individual church page before choosing where to go: its address, parish website and timetable are more useful together than a church name in a search result.
Check the building as well as the time
Look at the street and postcode, then use the map or directions link. A parish can use several buildings, and Catholic Mass can take place in a shared church or hall. Check that the official notice names the same worship location you intend to visit.
For a Saturday visit, look specifically for a Vigil Mass. For a weekday, check the named day rather than assuming a time applies throughout the week. Empty times in this directory mean we do not have a published time to show; they are not proof that no Mass takes place.
Confirm on the parish website
Follow the official website link and read the latest timetable or newsletter. Check its date and any exceptions for your visit. Where this directory shows a source and checked date, you can follow that evidence too. If the sources disagree or the information is undated, contact the parish before making a special journey.
Christmas and holy days need a separate check. Use our guides to Christmas Mass times and holy days in England, Wales and Scotland rather than treating the normal weekly list as a holiday timetable.
If you are unfamiliar with the service, going to Mass for the first time explains what to expect. For online worship, browse the webcam directory and check the provider’s current schedule; a saved recording is different from a live service.
This directory covers England, Wales and Scotland. For churches in Ireland, visit Christianity.ie. If you find an incorrect address or time here, send a correction with the church name and official source.
