Parish life

In 1992 three sisters set off to found a community in Myanga, north-west Kenya, on land given by a local Kenyan family. In 2001 the community voted to open a small convent in Hollington, near St Leonards on Sea, East Sussex, where four sisters moved in and two Franciscan Friars joined the community. In January 2010 two sisters came from Bulwell, Nottingham, to join the community. The community earns money by making vestments, running a small guest house, making and selling cards and knitted garments in their shop.
