About Most Holy Trinity

Most Holy Trinity is a Roman Catholic church in Crail, Fife. It is part of the Archdiocese of St Andrews and Edinburgh.

Parish life

Anne McConnochie and Karen Otto coordinate a group of volunteers who look after the church and organise readings, music, cleaning, and flower arranging. Masses are also held at Most Holy Trinity at Christmas and on all major Solemnities.

Sacraments and pastoral care

The body of the deceased may be received into the church the evening before the funeral in a short service usually attended only by close family. If the family wish, a eulogy may be read by a member of the family or close friend at the end of the Mass, after Holy Communion and before the Final Commendation. Two, three or four people can bring forward the gifts in the offertory procession at a funeral. Flowers for a funeral can be arranged with a florist chosen by the family and placed on the coffin or on the sanctuary.

To arrange to receive the Sacrament of the Sick, contact the Parish Priest or, if he is unavailable, the priest in any neighbouring parish. Children begin preparation for First Confession in P3, open to all children in Primary 3 and above who have been baptised. The RCIA group meets throughout the year to help those interested in understanding more about the Catholic faith, with a view to becoming members of the Church.
