About Our Lady of Lebanon Church [Maronite]
Our Lady of Lebanon Church [Maronite] is a Roman Catholic church in London, Greater London. It is part of the Archdiocese of Westminster.
Music and liturgy
The Church Choir encourages the younger generation to pray and sing traditional Maronite Hymns at Sunday masses. Every Christmas, the young children's choir joins the adult choir for Christmas Carols in December.
Parish life
The Ladies Committee is for ladies aged 45 and over and organises social events throughout the year. The Ladies Committee holds a Christmas fair with handmade crafts, icons, confectionery and home-cooked cakes. The Fraternity of the Immaculate Conception ensures the well-being of the church and supports the priest in the LMO mission in the UK. St Charbel's Family meets monthly on the 22nd for Adoration of the Eucharist, procession of St Charbel's relics, and faith discussions.
The Our Lady of Lebanon Youth group was founded to keep a strong bond between the adolescents of the community. Youth meetings are held on Sunday evenings all year round. The church holds an annual pilgrimage to St Charbel's Tomb in Lebanon.
