Parish life

The parish Society of Saint Vincent de Paul visits sick or housebound parishioners and helps families or individuals in need. A young adult group in the parish meets weekly for Bible studies and prayer meetings. The parish young adult group runs outreach programs and volunteer opportunities to serve the local community.

The parish runs a catechism program preparing primary school children for First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion. The parish offers legal advice to its parishioners. The parish runs an RCIA course for adults who have not received the Sacraments of Baptism, Eucharist or Confirmation.

The parish has a diverse demography with interaction of people from various cultures and ethnic groups. Live streamed and past masses are available on the YouTube channel 'crays parish'. The parish hall is available to hire for events.

Sacraments and pastoral care

Children must complete the catechism program, attend regular classes, and participate in church services to be eligible for first holy communion. The RCIA team runs a series of weekly sessions beginning in September each year, running until Easter.
