Parish life

The church is the focal point of the Catholic community in the southern area of Erskine. The parish runs an Alpha course to encourage faith and support those who minister. The parish works with local primary and secondary schools to support young people in their faith and celebrate the sacramental journey. The parish welcomes those who are sick to monthly masses of healing.

The three pillars of Life Group are Connect, Grow and Pray. The parish asks for volunteers for ministries including Readers, Eucharistic Ministers, Altar Servers, Passkeepers, Cleaners, Counters and Parish Council members.

The church has a compact layout with close linkage of church, meeting room and presbytery. The curve of the priest's hands in the Mass was developed into the walls on either side of the sanctuary. The message of Lourdes is highlighted on one curved sanctuary wall and the Risen Christ on the other. Adults seeking baptism or entry into the Catholic Church should contact the parish clergy.
