Introduction

After the war ended in 1945, new housing south of the Manor generated estates at Gleadless, from which grew the church of St Anthony. St Anthony’s is a co-founder and volunteer supporter of the Gleadless Valley foodbank. St Anthony’s has a monthly Taize Prayer Group.
