Parish life

The organ loft above the sacristy has a triple sound-proof window overlooking the altar and a speaker for participating in Mass. The parish has a Facebook group for parishioners.

Regular events

The parish challenges children to make a rosary, with results displayed in the church. The parish runs a youth group for young people aged between Year 6 and 17, with meetings in the parish hall on certain Fridays.

Sacraments and pastoral care

The parish supports the Diocese-endorsed online marriage preparation course run by SmartLoving UK. The marriage preparation course lasts 9 weeks, or can be fast-tracked to 4 weeks if needed.

Baptism requires attending Mass every weekend for at least two months before attending a preparation meeting. Couples planning to marry must give at least six months' notice to ensure preparation and pre-marriage courses are completed.

Visiting

The parish pilgrim statue of Our Lady of Fatima can be invited into homes for a week by signing a list at the back of the church. The parish participates in CAFOD Family Fast Day with a parish collection to support global neighbours. Second collections are held on specific weekends for Harvest Fast Day, World Mission Sunday, and Sick and Retired Priests.
