Introduction

At the end of September 2019, Saint Edward’s became part of the Saint Barnabas Cluster.

Music and liturgy

O Holy Night and assorted pieces in German are among the favoured music. Children's Liturgy explores the Gospels by means of conversation, a recap and an activity.

Parish life

Children step out of Mass before the first reading and come back at the presentation of the gifts. Sacramental classes are arranged centrally by the Cluster Office. The parish raises money for many causes, and many of those causes form its Lenten Project. Regular craft sessions are offered for the parish's younger members.

Christmas traditions place a poinsettia hedge before the tabernacle, baubles and flowers on the back wall, and a colour theme of red and gold. Refreshments are served after every Sunday Mass.

Regular events

The parish has arranged small pilgrimages to mark the feast day of Saint Edward the Confessor. An annual Passover Meal presents traditional foods and an evening devoted to history.
