About St. Luke
St. Luke is a Roman Catholic church in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire. It is part of the Diocese of East Anglia.
Introduction
Saint Luke's in Peterborough, within the Diocese of East Anglia, was built and consecrated in 1989 to serve the fledgling Orton community.
Architecture and furnishings
Three small rooms were knocked together to create a small hall that can be opened onto the church. The children's choir sang 'Panis Angelicus' by Cesar Frank at the blessing of the building work. The church offers Adoration and Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament in Latin.
