Introduction
St Monica's is a Catholic church in Wivenhoe, part of the parish of Brightlingsea-with-Wivenhoe in the Diocese of Brentwood.
History

Notable features
The patron saint was chosen because the relationship of St Monica to St Augustine was seen as parallel to the relationship of Wivenhoe to the university.
