About Christ the King - Bromborough

Christ the King - Bromborough is a Roman Catholic church in Bromborough, Merseyside. It is part of the Diocese of Shrewsbury.

Sacraments and pastoral care

The parish organises a pilgrimage day to St Anthony of Padua Franciscan Church. Parents are asked to arrange a child's baptism by speaking to a member of the clergy team after Sunday mass. The parish asks that the parish priest be informed immediately when a family member passes away. Funeral arrangements are made with the funeral director, at the family's convenience and subject to church and priest availability.

Funeral Plans, available at the back of church and via the Parish Office, allow funeral wishes to be put in writing. Holy Communion is taken to the sick and housebound, normally after Sunday Mass or on any day by arrangement with the parish priest.
