Music and liturgy

The parish has purchased new hymn books and reintroduced Order of Mass cards on the pews. The parish celebrated the First Holy Communion of 48 children from Our Lady of the Rosary and Our Lady of Lourdes Primary Schools. Children celebrate the Sacrament of Reconciliation during Lent in Primary 3. Children would normally celebrate First Communion during the Easter Season of Primary 4. The parish thanked all who helped with musical, liturgical, social and decorative preparations for the Lenten, Holy Week and Easter Liturgies.

Parish life

The parish runs a Sunday Café after both morning Masses in the front hall. The parish runs an RCIA programme for adults exploring the Catholic faith. The parish hosts the 7th Clyde Scouts, whose sections meet on Wednesday nights in the Church hall. The parish has a Legion of Mary group open to new members.

The parish has installed an accessible toilet in the church porch and improved access via the Ogilvie Room ramp. The front hall has reopened after renovation and is available to hire.

Regular events

Many parishioners took part in a pilgrimage to Lourdes for the parish's centenary celebrations in 2006. The parish holds a Parish Family Christmas Party.

Sacraments and pastoral care

Children are confirmed in Primary 7. Marriage preparation in the Archdiocese of Glasgow is obligatory, with regular parish meetings and at least six months notice required. The parish offers commemorative plaques for christenings, first communions, confirmations, weddings and anniversaries, placed in the Memorial Tree and Celebratory Heart in the side chapels.
