Our Lady of Walsingham, Corby

Parish life

The parish has a Cross Stitch group. A Church Cleaning group operates in the parish. An RCIA group for faith exploration is part of the parish. Groups reaching out to young people and young adults are detailed on the Corby Young Catholics page. The Parish Club has been the venue of many a buffet and party after Baptisms and special Church celebrations.

Sacraments and pastoral care

The parish has a number of parishioners who take Communion out to those who are housebound, and members of the SVP visit some parishioners. The parish's priests regularly visit sick and housebound parishioners during the week.

The parish offers preparation classes for those making their First Holy Communion, including making a 'First Confession' through the Sacrament of Reconciliation. The parish's priests liaise with both the family and funeral directors in the lead up to a funeral.
