Saint Dominic's Church, Torrance

Parish life

Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion assist the priest in administering the Blessed Sacrament at Mass and to the housebound. The parish has a number of readers across the three churches who proclaim the Word at Mass. Altar servers serve at Sunday Masses and occasionally at funerals and weddings in each of the churches. At St Machan's and St Paul's, groups of parishioners are responsible for maintaining the Church Hall and arrange social and fundraising events. First Confession, First Holy Communion and Confirmation are normally arranged in conjunction with St Machan's Primary School.
