The chapel is underground and reached by a spiral staircase, with no step-free access; the Garden of Remembrance above it at ground level is accessible. The chapel is not open for general visits outside scheduled services.

About Saint George (Heathrow Airport)
Saint George (Heathrow Airport) is a Roman Catholic church in Hounslow, Greater London. It is part of the Archdiocese of Westminster.
Introduction
Saint George's Chapel has been part of Heathrow since 1968, founded by the Anglican Church, the Roman Catholic Church and the Free Churches.
Architecture and furnishings
The Chapel is located underground, away from the terminals, and is accessed via a spiral staircase. The Garden of Remembrance is located at ground level, directly above the Chapel. The Garden includes memorial plaques remembering airport colleagues and flights that have been lost.
Parish life
The chaplaincy is served by a priest of the Spiritan Congregation. Mass is celebrated in the airport terminals. Multi-faith prayer rooms are available in all terminals, airside or landside.
Visiting
The Chapel is not open for general visits outside of scheduled services. The space is suitable for quiet reflection or a short break away from the terminals. The Chapel and Garden are around 200 metres from Heathrow's Central Bus Station, with signs to follow. Visitors by car should park in Car Park 1a, then go towards the Central Bus Station, locate Stand 17, turn left and follow blue signs along the designated pathway to the Chapel, next to a large stone wall.
