Parish life

The parish has partnered with the Ukrainian Catholic Eparchy of Sambir-Drohobych in the Lviv region of western Ukraine. The parish runs a bereavement group offering a listening service for those who feel the need to talk about their loved ones who have died, including loss by miscarriage and stillbirth.

Regular events

During Advent the parish holds Reconciliation Services, Advent Services of Carols and Holy Hours. In Lent the parish holds Stations of the Cross in both its churches, advertised regularly in the newsletter.

Sacraments and pastoral care

The bereavement group provides visiting for those who need support and reassurance. The bereavement group offers support and confidential talk at other times by arrangement. The bereavement group offers a Rosary with the family before the funeral by arrangement. A Special Service of remembrance is celebrated for all parishioners who have died during the year, during the month of November in St Gregory's Church.

The parish provides a Holy Hour each month concluding with Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament in Our Lady's Church. Adults who have not received the Sacrament of Confirmation, as well as those who seek to be Received into the Catholic Church, are requested to contact the Parish Office.
