St Luke's, Theale is a Roman Catholic church in Theale, Berkshire. It is part of the Diocese of Portsmouth.

Introduction

In 1969, Saint Luke's, Theale, opened. During the 1950s, Mass in Theale was celebrated in the Lamb Hotel and afterwards in the Great Western Railway Hut near the station. Population expansion grew on the east of the M4 corridor, with the congregation of Saint Luke's remaining fairly static. ReadiFood receives support from Saint Luke's and from Saint Bernadette's; Faith Christian Group in Reading runs it.
