Music and liturgy

An outdoor Mass at St Timothy's was held in the Lourdes at Home week. The Lourdes at Home Week in July 2018 was organised by the Social and Welfare group with six different events. The knitting group (called St Paul and St Timothy knitting group) has met in St Timothy's Presbytery since it started.

After 1997, the Parish Priest of St Paul served in both parishes of St Paul and St Timothy. The parish holds two Marriage Preparation courses at the beginning of the year, led by married couples.

Visiting

The parish is in the Liverpool North Deanery Families of Parishes. The weekly parish newsletter can be accessed on the parish website, in St Paul's church, or by email subscription. Streamed Masses are available via the Archdiocesan website, with the Cathedral streaming a Mass each Sunday and other churches streaming during the week. Sunday and daily Mass readings are available via a link to Universalis.

The daily office prayer is available online through Magnificat, which is subscription-based. Visitors can find service times in the Newsletter or Calendar, with the Calendar usually updated only for the week ahead. Parish photographers can submit photos of parish events or pilgrimages for the website, with a dedicated section for sending photos. The website includes information about Synod 2020 and the Vatican Synod 2023.

The Pastoral Plan can be viewed on the new Archdiocese website. The proposed Families were promulgated on 1 March 2024. In February 2024, a statement was read in church containing the suggested groupings of parishes. In July 2024, a statement was read in church showing the progress made. A process called Vatican Synod 2023 involving the whole church worldwide was announced.
