University of Bath Chaplaincy

Parish life

The chaplaincy's faith leaders offer support, guidance, and advice to students and staff of all faiths or none. Students and staff are welcome to contact the team, including recognised visiting chaplains and faith leaders.

The Chaplaincy Centre on campus offers support for people of all faiths and none, with prayer spaces. Brew@2 is a drop-in for coffee, cake and conversation, a 'one conversation space' event where others can quietly work or read. Interfaith events take place during term time, online, in town and on campus.

A Roman Catholic priest takes Mass on campus on Wednesdays and is available for all students and staff, supported by the Roman Catholic church. There is one prayer room on campus in Norwood House, level 4. The Mandir is on Level 4 of Norwood House, providing space for prayer, rituals, meditation, and spiritual connection for students, staff, and visitors. From social activities to faith related events, a variety of things take place in the Chaplaincy Centre.

Regular events

A well-trodden walk around Bath with prayer stops can be followed by students and staff at all times of the year, with stops at points of interest and relevant Bible passages.
