About Mar Anthonios Syro Malabar Mission

Mar Anthonios Syro Malabar Mission is a Roman Catholic church in Exeter, Devon. It is part of the Syro-Malabar Catholic Eparchy of Great Britain.

Parish life

Saint Theresa of Lisieux is the heavenly patron of Cherupushpa Mission League, and Saint Francis Xavier and Saint Alphonsa are co-patrons. Developing personality, promoting vocations and fostering a mission spirit are aims of Cherupushpa Mission League. Cherupushpa Mission League encourages children toward charity carried out through endurance, renunciation, love and service. The Women's Forum acts for stronger bonds among families and for family well-being in the mission.

Regular events

Beyond worship, the mission runs catechetical programmes serving children and adults, holds youth gatherings, and stages Syro-Malabar cultural events.

Sacraments and pastoral care

Kudumba Kootayma, the Family Unit, intends greater pastoral care as its way of building up the Church. The mission brings prayers that have been requested before the Lord in the Blessed Sacrament.
