Our Lady of Grace, High Wycombe

Music and liturgy

A group is responsible for the music at the Vigil Mass. Evangelisation, education in the faith and catechesis are the focus of events organised by an Evangelisation, Education and Catechesis group. A Liturgy Group counsels the Parish Priest about liturgy and both studies and arranges new liturgies. A Social and Culture group organises occasions on which parishioners can meet socially.

Parish life

The parish has a Pastoral Council which supports and advises the Parish Priest on the running of the Parish as a single entity and promotes the churches as places of worship. During the COVID pandemic, parishioners arranged telephone calls for people who may feel isolated.

When adoration and benediction take place, the parish turns to God in prayer for the care of the parish and of all that belongs to it. The Source Community, which is lay, works for renewal in the local parish and encourages other parishes to form communities of the same kind. Collections give particular support to Connect to Brazil and to communities in Sao Paulo.
