Music and liturgy

Bereavement support includes guidance on preparing funeral liturgies. Adults exploring the Catholic faith are invited to join the Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA).

Sacraments and pastoral care

Confirmation lessons run weekly in term time for young people aged 13 and over and follow the Alpha Youth Programme. Confirmation lessons explore the Mass and the Sacraments.

Families preparing for baptism are asked to watch the Alpha video What About the Church and discuss how they could be involved in church life. Couples requesting marriage are guided through the Arundel and Brighton diocesan course, which covers expectations, communication, problem-solving, relationships, sexuality and parenthood.

A Bereavement Support team offers care, a listening ear and guidance after a death. Bereavement support includes assistance in personalizing the funeral service. Bereavement support includes information on pre-planning a funeral.

Visiting

The Welcome Café is a monthly gathering in the meeting room at the Father's House. Guest speakers appear each month. Book studies have included the Bible, papal encyclicals, novels, human trafficking and the prison system.
