About Saint Anne
Saint Anne is a Roman Catholic church in Chertsey, Surrey. It is part of the Diocese of Arundel and Brighton.
Parish life
The Justice and Peace group for Saint Anne's parish has joined with the group at Christ Prince of Peace parish in Weybridge. Members of the parish are part of a Chaplaincy Team of volunteers who visit patients in St Peter's Hospital. Members of the chaplaincy team bring Holy Communion to Catholic patients in the wards. There has been an SVP Conference in Chertsey for many years.
Sacraments and pastoral care
Adults baptised in other Christian denominations who wish to become Catholic are invited to join Journey in Faith, with a year of regular worship expected before application.
Visiting
A patient entering hospital who says they are Catholic and wishes a visit from a member of the Chaplaincy Team can receive a visit. If the sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick is needed, a priest is called to administer it.
