About Saint Paul
Saint Paul is a Roman Catholic church in Ayr, South Ayrshire. It is part of the Diocese of Galloway.
Introduction
Saint Paul in Ayr, within the Diocese of Galloway, was opened in 1967 after its dedication stone was laid in 1966. On 28 June 2017, a celebration Mass marked the 50th anniversary of the parish community's founding and the church's opening.
Architecture and furnishings
A wall hanging made by members of the parish depicts Saint Paul's meeting on the road to Damascus. The Altar, lectern and baptismal font are all crafted from Creetown granite.
