Parish life

The parish serves the Catholic community in the town centre and to the East of Warrington, including Orford and Padgate. The parish was established on 1 May 2018 from the three former parishes of St Benedict’s (founded in 1902), St Mary’s (founded in 1877) and St Oswald’s (founded in 1929), Warrington.

The parish offers communion at home for those no longer able to come to church. A few parishioners have adopted hens from Lucky Hens Rescue, a non-profit organisation that rescues hens. For a loved one in hospital needing a priest urgently, the parish directs people to ask nurses to contact the 'On Call Catholic Priest'. St Benedict’s Church is located on Rhodes Street, WA2 7QE.
